EDGAR COUNTY, ILLINOIS COUNTY BOARD

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is given that a public hearing will be held by the Edgar County Board on November 26, 2025, at 8:30 A.M., at the Edgar County Courthouse, 115 W. Court; Courtroom 2, Paris, IL 61944, to hear evidence and make determinations on proposed amendments to the Edgar County Battery Energy Storage Systems Ordinance and the Edgar County Commercial Wind Energy Facility Ordinance.

All persons are invited to attend this public hearing and be heard. The public hearing will be held in person. All persons in attendance may present testimony, present evidence, and/or cross examine witnesses. Public comments may be submitted to the Edgar County Clerk & Recorder by leaving a hard copy at the office located at 115 W. Court Street, Room J, Paris, Illinois or by emailing such public comments to agriffin@edgarcountyillinois.gov. Oral public comment will also be allowed during the public comment portion of the hearing.
