IT Services is responsible for the purchase, installation and management of the technology that keeps Edgar County operating smoothly.

Everything from servers and workstations to email delivery and virus scanning, IT Services provides a very broad and flexible skill set.

Edgar County hosts the local Point of Presence (POP) for the statewide fiber optic network known as the Illinois Century Network. This network connects Paris with Coles County to the west and Clark County to the south over dedicated fiber optic cables.
